Protect Your Sexual Health

If you are sexually active, regular testing for STDs is necessary to guard your sexual and reproductive health. There is no method of birth control (including condoms) that is 100% effective in preventing the spread of STDs. Many STDs do not have noticeable symptoms. The absence of symptoms does not mean you’re not infected, and it is still possible to spread an infection to a partner.

At Ivy Women’s Center, as part of our pregnancy services, we offer free, limited testing and treatment for the most common STDs so that you can protect your sexual and reproductive health and the health of your partner. Call today to learn more about these services.

When Should I Be Tested?

An untreated STD can have serious repercussions on your future sexual and reproductive health. It is also dangerous to pursue an abortion, or proceed with a pregnancy, in the presence of an infection. As part of the pregnancy services offered at Ivy, we will also test for STDs. If an active infection is detected, you will be offered treatment, free of charge, so that you can have peace of mind as you move forward.

Why wait? If it’s been awhile since you’ve been tested, or if you’re concerned you might have an STD, schedule your appointment today to get the answers you need.
